Let me explain: A client is like your representative that performs tasks for you. In this case, the browser acts as the client. You typed google.com, and in return, you were directed to the Google website. Seems simple, right?

Suppose Chomuram needs to visit Smarty's place to exchange notes. How will he find Smarty's house?
Yes, he will ask someone for directions, and they will show him the way. After walking for a while, he might ask someone else for directions again and get more guidance. This process repeats until he reaches his destination.
The same thing happens when you search for Google.com on the internet. You look for a website, and your browser contacts the DNS Recursor, which fetches the IP address you searched for from the DNS servers. This process is known as DNS Resolution.
